We provide unwavering, culturally competent support tailored for families of color, with a radical commitment to those navigating "life", low-income challenges, and the unique journeys of the queer community.
Full Spectrum Doula Care
I provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. This service helps families navigate appointments, birth/labor, making informed decisions, and creating space for healing.
Compassionate Support Paths
Accessible, culturally competent care tailored for marginalized families and communities of color.
Mental Health Advocacy
Building healthy and respectful care for incarcerated and low-income families, and assisting with navigating their mental health, hospital staff and ensuring families are receiving the best care.
Community Wellness
Workshops and circles creating safe, inclusive education on queer parenting and reproductive justice for all families.
Accessible Care, Centered in Equity
At D.U.E, we believe that doula support should never be a luxury. Our pricing model is intentionally designed to bypass systemic barriers and provide sustainable health outcomes for everyone.
We prioritize marginalized families of color by utilizing our community peers and resources. D.U.E is a Certified Medicaid biller and this allows us to provide services for individuals with lower income who deserve culturally competent care without the burden of financial strain.
Insurance
D.U.E excepts most insurances plans, offers customer the ability to receive reimbursements from HSA/FSA accounts. This allows us to assist many families without adding additional financial strain to the family.

Flexible payment structures for low-income families. We work with you to ensure high-quality care is accessible within your current budget.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER AND OWNER
My name is Michelle Caster-Cyprian, and I am a Black, lesbian doula committed to providing intentional, respectful, and affirming care to every family I serve.
I bring a culturally aware and inclusive approach to birth work. I have worked in spaces that have assisted with building bonds in communities for the unhoused population, I have supported families with special needs, and have helped families intergrate back into the community after being incarcerated. These families and experiences have allowed me to be a coach for my families, and have provided me with different views of how support should be provided. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, labor, or postpartum, I provide emotional support, physical comfort, and evidence based guidance so you can make informed decisions that feel right for you and your family.
My role is not to lead your journey, but to stand beside you in it with advocacy, compassion, and respect at the center of everything I do.
D.U.E is built on the belief that all families deserve safe, affirming, and empowered birth experiences. This work is personal to me, and I take pride in showing up fully for the families who trust me during such a transformative time.
I am a CAB Certified Doula, and I have been working in community with different populations and walks of life. Being able to help families through an important part of life is instrumental to building a successful business.
This work will help move the needle and ensure we are able to be protected.
